recovery support.

If you’ve ever tried to quit and cut back on your drinking, only to find yourself in the same spot (or worse) a month or two later, you’re not alone.  That’s because quitting drinking is about so much more than quitting drinking. It’s about learning emotional sobriety and self-awareness skills. It’s about learning to be with yourself without escape.

We live in a society that glorifies escape. From the time we’re kids, we’re taught that adults gravitate toward alcohol to increase pleasure (celebrations) and to decrease pain (stress after a long day at work). We’re shown and taught that this is the ‘normal’ way to process our feelings. A normal way to make it through life.

That’s why, when you choose to make a change in your relationship with alcohol, but don’t address your underlying feelings, self worth, or the real reasons WHY you drink, you’ll often find yourself with glass in hand once again.

That merry-go-round of moderation stops now. You deserve a life that is full and present and to be someone you know you can count on.

who it’s for:

Grey-area drinking recovery support is for you if you’re committed to changing your relationship with alcohol and want to fully embrace your LIVING your life instead of squeaking by in default-mode.

This type of support is for you if you’ve already given up drinking or know you’re DONE with drinking and self-sabotage. You’ve come to a place of acceptance that alcohol can no longer play a role in your life.

One-to-one support isn’t for you if you’re sober curious, looking for ways to moderate or still secretly hope you’ll be able to drink after taking some time away... ⬅️if this is you, I highly recommend booking a voice note session so you can receive support working through these blocks.

private recovery support

Fully customized support for HSP’s looking to be supported through recovery from grey area drinking and/or motherwound healing (most people I work with are wanting support with both). This is the highest and most intimate level of support, available for 3 or 6 months with extensions available.

This is for you if:

  • You’re completely ready to dive into the world of physical & emotional sobriety

  • You crave the intimacy and accountability of private support

  • You have a stack of half read self-help books on your bedside table, signed up for courses you never finished, and have realized that you can’t do this alone anymore

  • You’re ready to take accountability for your actions and know that you’re the solution to your problems

  • You’re done with being hard on yourself and recognize that you’ll never hate yourself into lasting, positive change

  • You’re sick of thinking about taking action and are now truly ready to make it happen

  • You’re ready to knock alcohol off the pedestal that it’s been on for way too long

What’s included:

  • A customized program completely tailored to your needs whether its physical or emotional sobriety (or both)

  • Weekly or bi-weekly zoom sessions. Each session is 60 minutes in length.

  • Flexible scheduling (I see clients on Tues, Wed and Thurs during regular business hours). You’ll have access to my calendar so you can book yourself in at times that work for you.

  • Optional Voxer (text and voice app) or email support Tuesday thru Friday to help you work through blocks, debrief from sessions and celebrate wins. It’s the time in-between regularly scheduled calls where the true opportunity for growth lies - the time where you may find yourself in a low after a high point, the time when self doubt kicks in, the time when you could really use a soft place to land. I’ll be one of the main people you ‘do’ life with during our time together.

  • Resources specifically for you including book and podcast recommendations and worksheets, if you’re a worksheet kind of person.

  • "...made me feel safe when I needed a guide in some extremely difficult times"

If you ever get the chance to work with Kristy - do it! She has the most calming and understanding soul. With Kristy, you can celebrate your wins and be held through the tough times - she feels like a big, loving hug. Kristy made me feel safe when I needed a guide in some extremely difficult times.

  • "Through her coaching, Kristy can help define your new path and light the way for you"

Kristy was the first person I talked to about my decision to live sober. Her attentive approach provided immediate comfort and support. Kristy really listens. It is a true gift to be in the presence of someone who heartily hears me and taps into what I imagine for myself. Through her coaching, Kristy can help define your new path and light the way for you.

  • "...one of the BEST decisions I've ever made."

Working with Kristy has been one of the BEST decisions I've made! Her warm and compassionate nature was just what I needed as I changed my relationship with alcohol. I loved the Voxer (voice messaging) support, reinforcing the healing work in our weekly sessions. Kristy is wise, intuitive, and non-judgemental, a trusted guide on the path to wholeness, self-love, and sobriety. I highly recommend working with her.

  • "I was able to release years of guilt and shame"

I was alive in September 2022, but I was not living - I was merely existing day to day as a high functioning mother, wife and accountant. I didn’t know who I was. I was drinking daily and knew something needed to change but also knew I couldn’t do it alone.

Then the universe stepped in and my part led me to Kristy. I was able to join one of her small groups - this is when my life really started changing and I finally began living. In her group, I was witnessed, supported and guided. I was able to release shame and guilt that I held onto for years…while being met with love and compassion.

I am no longer existing - I am growing and thriving. And it all started working with Kristy. She played an instrumental role in helping me save myself. I love myself and I’m excited for what lies ahead. I never imagined that i’d be able to say that and believe it.

  • "...it has completely changed my life in more ways than I could have imagined..."

I can't remember the sequence of events that lead me to Kristy's Instagram but the universe knew what it was doing.

I first learned the definition of HSP through Kristy and I was hooked. I had been sober curious for awhile and as soon as she posted Sobriety for the Sensitive Soul I just knew I wanted to try it out even though I was scared.

BEST DECISION EVER! From the first minute of the first session Kristy did an amazing job making me feel comfortable, seen and valued. She gave me the tools I needed to make better decisions for myself while acknowledging mind, body and soul.

If you are on the fence about joining this group session please know that it has completely changed my life in more ways than I could have imagined a year ago.

  • “The only thing that has completely changed my relationship with alcohol and how I see myself has been working with Kristy”

Alcohol was a problem for me, but I didn’t fall into the typical definition of an addict.

After I saw an addiction specialist, it felt like she didn’t know what to do with me: I didn’t have a DUI, I never put my children in harms way, it didn’t interfere with work. I felt like I had to be “worse” to get help.

Now I know that I was just so desperate for someone to help me feel seen and now drown in my own self-hatred and shame. I attended all the things, AA included.

The only thing that has completely changed my relationship with alcohol and how I see myself has been working with Kristy.
